Contest Entry: Between Two Dream Worlds

This is my entry for AnimeMangandGo's Contest: Dreams and Nightmares.

They wanted original characters that weren't affiliated with anything, so I chose my demon OCs' Anita and Du'an.

Yes, I know they are demons, but their my version of a demon.

Anita is a purebred, new moon-borne demon, while Du'an is a half-breed.
Anita was born from the new moon, while Du'an was born as a human, but was killed and reborn as a demon. So he is half and half.

Ok listen, Im not going to completely explain the concept here, Ill probably draw them again at some point and explain what they are later on.

Just know that they are demons who fight lesser, malicious demons, and keep the human world from falling to far under the influence of malice and corruption by the evil spirits that roam the Earth.

Blah,blah, whatever.


I finished this today, a bit on a rush, and I used watercolor paint,black ink pens, and color pencil.
The paper is just really weird so the color pencil doesn't look the greatest.

Oh, and the whole concept of this picture is that Anita and Du'an fight the lesser demons(I call them Snags) and evil spirit on a bit of a twilight zoned version of Earth. They can pass through both worlds and fight as they please.

But the dimensions between the worlds are so unreal, they make the world seem as if it is just one big dream. Filled with odd colors, different planes, and what do you know, nightmarish creatures.
